- Free from Parabens
- A preservative that keeps bacteria and mould from growing in a product.
- A water-based product needs a preservative, because without one bacteria and mould can grow in it. We chose others, such as 1,2-hexanediol and caprylhydroxamic acid, because many mothers prefer products without parabens during pregnancy, and we can offer that without giving up a working preservative.
- Free from Phthalates
- A plasticiser, sometimes carried into a formula through a fragrance blend.
- Phthalates are rarely listed by name, because they can sit inside a fragrance blend that appears on the label as one word, “fragrance”. We chose not to use them at all, so our ingredient list means what it says.
- Free from Drying alcohol
- Alcohol denat. and similar alcohols, which make a product dry quickly and feel light.
- It can draw moisture out of skin that already dries out more easily in pregnancy. Many women also find their sense of smell sharper in the first trimester, and the smell of alcohol is often named as a trigger for nausea. We mean only this kind of alcohol. Names like cetyl or stearyl alcohol, which you may see in an ingredient list, are fatty alcohols that soften skin rather than dry it. Benzyl alcohol is used as a preservative. Neither is a drying alcohol.

How to use it

Wash your face with Mama's Choice Gentle Face Wash and rinse with clean, cool water.

Once your face is dry, apply the moisturiser evenly in the morning.

If you are outdoors, reapply during the day, and after sweating or towel drying.

Do not stay too long in the sun, even while using a sunscreen product.

The cream is milky white and has no scent. It sinks in fast and calms irritation well, and it has sunscreen in it to protect the skin from the sun. Delivery was quick too. I like it.
Texture: the cream is light, spreads easily and is not sticky. Absorption: after using it my face looks moisturised. Function: should have nothing harmful in it for pregnant women. It smells just like milk. This is only my first time using it. The tube is very small, I think it will finish fast 😂
Texture: milky white cream, sinks into the face quickly. Absorption: the cream calms irritation well. Function: sun protection to use while pregnant. Good price, and it does not go patchy during the day. I like it, the size is small so it is easy to carry around.
This one is really good. At first my skin purged so small pimples came out, but not for long, by the next day they were gone and after that no pimples came out again, and my skin turned glowing. So far it suits my sensitive skin.
The carton was a little dented, probably a courier mishap. The product is genuine. I have repurchased twice already, it is enough for basic skincare while pregnant. The cream smells like white milk and it leaves no white cast.
Delivery was fast. The moisturiser already has SPF 20 in it, so you can call it a moisturiser and sunscreen in one.. This is my second time buying it. There has been a fair bit of change in my skin: when I first got pregnant and went into my second trimester I broke out badly, after trying this product the pimples have started to fade..
Very convenient since it's both a sunscreen and a moisturiser, goodbye sun spots and dry patches! Bought it to replace my usual skincare now that I'm pregnant.
Very lightweight and hydrating. Doesn't cause outbreaks. I use this daily.
